So I pretty much ADORE our flat mates!!! Katherine (my roommate from Loyola) got so lucky with them. They are so cute; love to make fun of our accents and joke with us. We played wii together on our first day and I knew that it was meant to be <3
The rest of my posts will be broken up, day by day describing Fresher’s week. Basically Newcastle is the coolest school on earth for planning these events. It is four days dedicated to helping freshmen get acquainted with not only the school, but also the city of Newcastle itself. So I bought a wristband in our to participate in the events and DEFINETLY for my moneys worth double fold.
My Loyola friends and I decided we were going to do everything possible!! On Monday, we participated in a high ropes course with zip lines. For some of you who know me, I hate (just kidding, LOVE) this type of things. I was really comfortable with the equipment so I bounced around the course, taking pictures and goofing off. On Monday night, the theme was Rubix cube aka you are supposed to wear all the colors of a cube and tried to become one color. I was a not too keen on the whole trading thing, so I stayed multi-colored for the night, as did most people. Overall, a great night!!
