Wednesday, I meant with my tutor who will help me with any issues that I might have. After that I went to my History Induction, which I ended up being an hour early and had to sit through 2 other inductions until mine. However I made a fool of myself when I tried to sneak out of the induction early by dropping all my papers and my keys making WAY too much noise…ops. I then received a tour of St James Park, the futbol stadium of Newcastle United. IT WAS AWESOME. I always get excited about sport things, when I am in the moment. If you asked me about a certain sports team, I would know no stats or details. But once the game is on, I get into it and that was how I felt the entire tour. I touched the field, which they called pitch, even though I wasn’t supposed to. I did it when our tour guide wasn’t looking hahah. We saw both locker rooms. We didn’t get to see the trophy room, because they haven’t got any hahaha After that we went to cocktail training, were we got to go behind the bar and make our own drinks. Unfortunately, I got so nervous well making mine I missed my glass and got the alcohol all over the bar. I was punished with a chili shot, a shot of vodka that tastes like a hot chili. My mouth burnt so bad that bartender had to give me a glass of milk! But I redeemed myself by hitting the glass off my shaker on the first try =) Katherine and I decided to stay in for the night, and nurse my cold. It was just what I needed after such a busy week. Reflecting on my experience so far, I love it. I am so thrilled to be able to have this opportunity. EVERYONE SHOULD STUDY ABROAD.
